Nature is here, all you have to do is step out of the hotel to set off on a walk wherever your feet take you or visit the picturesque village of Loubressac with its steep roofs, one of the most beautiful villages of France since 1983.

Day 1
Let the car take a rest and straighten your legs.
A day combining sport, heritage and fine dining. Start out on foot from the hotel, heading for the hamlet of Lacam, take a path listed in the Causses du Quercy Regional Park to the mythical Padirac Chasm. It’s your opportunity to discover the incredible underground adventure. On the way back, along a path in the shade of famous young oaks, stopping off at the Cazals Farm is a must to meet the 300 goats that produce the milk used to make the famous Rocamadour AOP goat’s cheese. 3 hours’ walking during the day with an elevation of 225 metres.
Day 2
Relax and visit the famous city.
After a good night’s sleep and breakfast listening to the birds singing, visit Loubressac and take the time to admire the view of the kingdom. Departure for the City of Rocamadour. Plan to explore all of the city’s towers, nooks and crannies, and don’t miss out on a refreshing stop at the grotte des Merveilles cave, or enjoy a wild moment at the Forest of Monkeys where Barbary macaques live in a reserve that’s almost like being in the wild.
Day 3
Don’t let your car get dirty.
There’s a bit of a journey in sight for today, so get settled in your car and prepare to head off to explore the Dordogne valley on the lower area of Corrèze. Following this order, we suggest you see Beaulieu and its abbey first, then stop at La Forge, an odd collection of objects from a bygone age in Curemonte, then onto Collonges la Rouge, a bastion of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, and finish the route at Turenne with its maze of streets dedicated to arts and crafts. Your eyes will be amazed by the architecture this side of the valley has. 90 kms in all for 1 and a half hours at Lot speed, or 2 hours in tourist time.
Day 4
A day out for everyone to learn new things.
Start the day off nice and slow meeting a potter in the hamlet of Granou, which then continues with visiting Castelnau Castle. If it’s nearly lunch time, you can keep going for a few kilometres to the town of Glanes. There you will be able to appreciate the 7 family wine cellars of the IGP Côteaux de Glanes appellation, which are open for tasting, sharing and discussing the local “grand cru”. When it is hot, you’ll appreciate the freshness of La Grotte de Presque cave, a natural site discovered in 1825. To finish off the day, we suggest taking time to go to the town of Saint-Céré to do some shopping or visit the Saint-Céré Walnut Oil mill dating from the 18th century at your own pace.
Day 5
Cool down with a day in the water.
Have a rest in the morning, an opportunity to recharge your batteries, then head for the river to paddle downstream in a canoe from Carennac bridge. The less bold who prefer to chill out can do so on Gluges beach. We suggest that you continue on your way to see Miret bridge, which will lead you to Martel, a medieval town with 7 towers, the ambiance and architecture of which you’ll find enchanting.
Day 6
Finish off staying within 15km.
Set out early to have a picnic breakfast in nature, watching the sunrise and admiring the Autoire circus and waterfall, where a stunning view awaits you. It is possible to continue the walk towards the château des Anglais. On the way back take a guided tour at Siran farm, and see which regional products in the farm shop make the perfect souvenirs to take home. Walk back to the hotel for a nice shower and light lunch. The next part of the route is done by car to visit the village of Autoire, and along the way you can stop off at the Borie farm shop, a regional foie gras maker. The day ends with a quiet visit of Carennac village and its abbey.
